“The Doggerland salmon”, 2023. Acrylic and pen on paper.
This is a Salmon I caught in river Vorgod a few years back. It measured 95 cm. The rivers in Western Jutland, Denmark, were once connected in one massive river system with its estuary in the area known as Doggerland, which is now under water in the North Sea. Hence the name.
